spanning the distance between the kitchen and the grave.
The QE2 Players were founded
in Boston
six years ago, and are dedicated
to
producing
plays with meaningful roles for older women.

seek out works that reveal
older women as complex, dynamic people
with
strong, seasoned voices.

Enjoy a taste of Middle Eastern, Turkish, and Indian music, including a variety of traditional and classical pieces as well as some of Okbari's original tunes. Okbari is Amos Libby and Eric LaPerna. They will accompany belly dancers Jamileh and Kalilah. Jamileh is an exquisite dancer and beloved teacher. Kalilah is one of her lovely and talented students.
