WET is HOT in JULY!
    JULY  2006
 FRIDAY & SATURDAY  JULY 7 & 8

Moonlight
Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter’s haunting and poetic 1993 Drama. With his levelheaded wife Bel at his side, Andy confronts the “new horizon” of death with dry humor and a defiant curiosity. Beneath the calm, however, we find a haunting and poetic drama of forgiving – a mother and two sons negotiating the gap between anger and longing, a daughter spanning the distance between the kitchen and the grave.

The QE2 Players were founded in Boston
six years ago, and are dedicated to producing
plays with meaningful roles for older women.
They seek out works that reveal
older women as complex, dynamic people
with strong, seasoned voices.

 Friday & Saturday
 July 7 & 8, 8pm

 Tickets $15

SATURDAY  JULY 15

Sukey Tawdry performing The Good Girl Lament
Designed to put local Pollyannas in touch with their Bad Sides! This sassy, sexy, and subversive collection of cabaret songs from an earlier era remind us that women have always paid a price for expressing confidence, power and sexuality. These tunes will dazzle your ears while feeding your “inner vamp.”

Frontwoman Miss Mary Mac and her band
– local saw player Leigh Calabrese,
clarinetist Andy Bergman,
keyboardist Steve Gilbane,
double bassist Mike Leggio,
and drummer Mark Nathanson
– can be expected to leave their hearts
(if not their limbs) out on the stage.
